[DevLog#16]Act II planning, next demo version patch, OST, Trailer.
Hello everyone, Robertoz here!
It's been a while, for sure. I apologize again for the delays on my side, but I got past this now, so I started working again. Several things to be announced for right now, the coming week, and the rest.
First and most expected, the story planning. I did set up the choice tree, alongside a slightly developed text description, and free for you to consult. This plannong is not definitive and may have some changing along the way, but I think I'll stay close to the root ideas.
Second of all, I intend to use this week of university break on my end to release a new demo version, featuring :
- Script edits, correcting typos and historical incoherencies.
- On Stalingrad, outside camp, and the restaurant scenes, some SFX to better plant the background with ambient sounds.
- New music track featured in the credits, by Nauzz.
- Implementation of Achievements, according to shared list.
- New expressions for two characters (Irena and Igor).
- Three additional scenes in Stalingrad.
Unfortunately, the story planning I evoked will be the only knowledge you will get of what comes after the arrival of Otto Spiel on the camp, as the demo version will stop there in any case.
Third point is the sharing of a bit of art that I had done during last month, so here you will enjoy the new expressions, and the CG that was recently finished, with both variants from ChiyoKyokane and Mary.
Fourth point is the setup of Totsugeki! Studio's YouTube channel, which will feature the game's soundtracks, the upcoming trailers, and perhaps some timelapse drawing or painting sessions from the artists. Check it out here.
Fifth and final point is the trailer evoked above. This first trailer will be featuring the characters from the story, and will be done by a fellow friend, Drak0. I can't tell you when it will be ready, but when it will be, it's going to be good.
Sixth and bonus point, spend a happy Easter! But don't eat too much choccy. Please.
